Soulmania is a 9-piece classic soul band: harmonic vocals, a horn section and a tight, fat band.
A live performance by Soulmania is a sensation. Our show features soul hits from the 60s and 70s. So the well-known work of soul legends such as Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Sam Cooke, Martha Reeves and Wilson Pickett. The band plays tasty soul grooves like no other while the three vocalists passionately take turns taking the lead and playing each other and the audience. Sitting still is not an option. Soulmania is not a 'standard cover band'. It is a band with its own DNA and a great show. After all, appearance does matter!
Depending on the venue's wishes and facilities, Soulmania will dress up the performance with its own stage dressing and even a real graphics show. This way, we make the performance an experience for the audience.
Soulmania performs publicly on music stages, in theatres and at festivals. But Soulmania also regularly performs at private parties. During a performance, Soulmania plays 1 long or 2 shorter sets or a set that fits the festival schedule.

Band Biography
Soulmania was formed in 2019 and, as the name suggests, soul music was the focus even then.

2021 / 2022
Besides its regular show, Soulmania paid attention to the 30th anniversary of the award-winning music film 'The Commitments' with a special show in 2021 and 2022. In association with theatres, venues and cinemas, the film was shown again and Soulmania played live the complete soul repertoire from the film. The show premiered on 12 September 2021 in the theatre hall of Pathé Ede. One of the highlights was the sold-out show at the Gala/Final Night of the 10-day Film-by-the-Sea festival in Vlissingen.
